Diane Salamon

Diane Salamon is a nationally recognized artist whose work is included in many collections including the Official State Art Collection of Oklahoma. She has exhibited extensively throughout the United States in juried and invitational exhibits and is included in the registry of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She has been awarded signature status in the Oklahoma Watercolor Society and the Southwest Watercolor Society. Diane is frequently interviewed about issues concerning art and requested to jury exhibits.
Diane's work is about bringing balance, beauty and hope to an often chaotic and unorganized world. Her paintings consist of layers of color, patterns, shapes and written prayers which combined together result in a musical quality within the composition.
Diane was born in Mankato, Minnesota and moved many times during her childhood. As a young adult she made Tulsa, Oklahoma her home. In addition to painting she enjoys playing piano, reading, traveling, and writing about art.
